What is the issue?

We consider that pages with many incoming links and references might be relevant for your users to discover in search results (with some exceptions such as URLs behind a login state). This report shows significant cases where these highly relevant pages aren't yet indexable.

How to fix

  • Assess whether the page is relevant enough to be indexed and ranking within Search Results

  • Discover why the pages aren't indexable and provide a fix based on that. For example, make sure the meta robots tag in the header of your page is set to "index", and ensure that the page is set to "allow: " in the robots.txt file.

Use Google Analytics data to find URLs that are not indexable, but receive good user engagement metrics, such as a low bounce rate. Making these URLs indexable to get more visitors via organic search could benefit your overall website performance. Learn more in this article.
